Pasa Puchah Guthi UK (PPG UK) is a charitable organisation established in November 2000, representing the Newah community, to preserve and promote our culture and tradition in the UK. It has 5 chapters and is governed by a board of trustees.
OBJECTIVES
The charity’s objectives are
- to advance the public’s appreciation of and education in Newah arts, culture, and tradition in particular but not exclusively by means of teaching and presenting Newah arts, literature, music, dance, customs, and rituals.
- the prevention or relief of poverty by the provision of grants, items, or services to those in need.
