I am happy to learn that the Pasa Puchah Guthi, UK is bringing out a souvenir magazine on the occasion of Mha Puja (Nepal Sambat 1126) Celebration on 02 November 2005.

It is heartening to note that the Pasa Puchah Guthi, U.K., is the pioneer Newar association
that has been making valuable contribution in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage
of the artistic community of Nepal in the United Kingdom.

On this happy occasion, I would like to extend my congratulations to the Pasa Puchah

Condolences

Mr Ishwar Prasad Manandhar
Co-founder: Pasa Puchah Guthi UK

PPGUK is greatly saddened to learn about the untimely demise of one of our past presidents and founder members, and a prominent figure amongst the Nepalese community in the UK, Ishwar Prasad Manandhar on Saturday Feb 4, 2012 at the age of 81. We have lost not only a kind soul but a gentle and humble person who always showed his unconditional love and dedication to Pasa Puchah Guthi and the entire Nepalese community in the UK. He will be sorely missed by all Guthi members, family, friends and the entire Nepalese community inside and outside of Nepal.

Pasa Puch Guthi offers it's heartfelt condolences to bereaved family members, colleagues and friends.

Mr Mohan Man Shrestha
(Father of Ms Menka Shrestha)

PPGUK's current Vice-President and representative for Women's Development Sub-committee,
Ms Menka Shrestha lost her father
Mr Mohan Man Shrestha on Monday Dec 19, 2011 during the family's visit to Kathmandu, Nepal. Late Mr Shrestha was reported for medical problems earlier this year. However, he was a very jolly personality, one of the regular attendants of all PPGUK events in London and frequently contributed through his best cooking skills for Guthi members. PPGUK's prayers are for the bereaved family, that God gives them enough strength to overcome the pain followed by this huge loss. May late Mr Mohan Man Shrestha's soul rest in peace!
